• Structural analyses to ensure integrity of various components of offshore platform ( modules, helideck, caissons, conductors etc)
  • Fatigue check of platform components (decks, connections, modules) under cyclic loadings
  • Review of analysis and design calculations by contractors, discuss and comment (caisson clamps, grouted sleeve repairs, integrated deck analysis etc)
  • Defining structural inspection strategies
  • Establish needs for various repairs on caissons, including internal or external repairs, temporary mitigations and also inspection requirements.
  • Risk ranking of caisson activities and liaise with asset for inclusion in activity plans
  • Repair of damaged well conductors, various inspections and temporary mitigations
  • Certifying structural aspects of a bridge connection between platform and accommodation vessel
  • Management of platforms structural anomalies
  • Fabric Maintenance strategy for offshore platforms. Define, approve and control of the annual platforms’ fabric maintenance scope and managing changes
  • Compiling the annual topside structural inspection scopes based on the Risk Based Inspection strategies
  • Review the inspection reports, compile platforms inspection summary and take necessary actions on findings (raise anomalies, MCDRs, structural assessments etc)
  • Review and revise inspection strategies based on current structural conditions, platform age, and shortcomings
  • Defining caissons and conductors specific inspection requirements, external or internal, using NDT techniques such as PEC, UT, SLOFEC
  • Subsea inspection activities (scope definition, inspection reviews )
  • Offshore survey to identify the construction limitations, structural arrangement and site requirements.
  • Analysis and design of the support structures and connections
  • Constructability review to offshore limitations (maximum frame element sizes, no welding offshore etc,)
  • Detail design of caisson support, installation frame, pull in winch support frame to AISC LRFD
  • Attending the weekly meetings with the client and all related disciplines to discuss the project progress, requirements and problems
  • Design of lifting arrangements
  • Project HAZID and ARA (Activity Risk Assessment) activities
